Embraer delivered two EMBRAER 170 jets to Libya's new Petro Air at the end of March, the Brazilian plane maker announced Thursday.

The jets will join a EMBRAER 170 delivered to Sirte Oil Company in the first quarter of 2007 in use to transport oil company personnel from Tripoli to oil stations and provide ad hoc charter services.

The two planes are worth $66.8 million at list prices, although buyers generally get steep discounts. Petro also has purchase rights for two EMBRAER 190 jets.
