When shopping online, a phone call may be required. When this happens, you normally get a crap call centre ‘experience’, which has you running around in circles and not get anything done.
Carla needed to make a call to Malaysia Airlines. She expected the worst, but couldn’t have been more mistaken. Bear in mind we both have never set foot on a Malaysia Airlines plane, so it’s not like we have one of those black cards.
A cursory email to Malaysia Airlines was answered within 5 minutes. You get the number and call it. A completely automated system notifies you of your position in the queue, and the waiting time ahead of you. In our case, position 2 and waiting time of 6 minutes. They then give you a choice, wait, or enter your number and they’ll call you back in 6 minutes time!
